The Paper Heart Project

As part of a campus-wide initiative at Unitec to "Pay It Forward" and spread positivity, I left brown boxes and colorful post-it notes around the University. I asked students to submit positive words to one another (anonymously or signed) and created this video from our submissions. The Paper Heart Project was designed in collaboration with our "Pay It Forward Issue" of the Uni-Magazine.

The Balloon Imaginarium: Auckland, NZ

The Balloon Imaginarium was an installation project in downtown Auckland with a purpose to ignite the creative and imaginative thinking of the every day Aucklander. The event was meant to be experienced and manifested by the Auckland public, in their direct participation with the installation and aims at provoking inspiration to a realm of possibilities. With the help of two fantastic volunteers, My friend, Cleo Barnett and I, installed fifty giant balloons in downtown Auckland and asked passerbys to attach "Imagine If...." thoughts to the balloons.

The maze of balloons gradually became a sort of imagination museum, open for immediate public viewing. We had some amazing contributions. Everyone from five years old to 83 years old came to participate in this inspiring project. For more information, visit the event's tumblr page here!
